What Is My Election Platform?

Over the past 14 years, residents have consistently described me as dedicated, dependable, and engaged in my service to Rothesay.  I believe that reputation has been earned through a strong commitment to showing up, listening, and making thoughtful, fair decisions.  In particular:

• I have proudly represented residents at every Council meeting and at countless community events, ensuring their voices are present wherever decisions are being made
• I have made a point of listening to all perspectives on key community issues through one-on-one conversations, public engagement, and online dialogue so that decisions are informed and balanced
• I have remained objective, striving to make practical, well-reasoned decisions that reflect the best interests of the broader community
• I have treated every resident with respect, fairness, and courtesy, recognizing that everyone deserves to be heard and valued

These principles have guided my approach to public service and will continue to shape how I represent Rothesay moving forward.

On May 11^th, I respectfully ask for your continued support as I seek the opportunity to serve as your Mayor.  Together, we have made meaningful progress, and I am committed to building on that momentum with thoughtful leadership, responsible decision-making, and a clear focus on Rothesay’s future.

I would be honoured to earn your vote and the opportunity to continue working on your behalf as Mayor of Town Council.

Over the next four years, I am committed to building on our progress and continuing to move Rothesay forward in a thoughtful, responsible way.  I will:

• Work diligently to maintain a responsible and sustainable tax rate, ensuring value for residents while protecting essential services
• Support well-planned, thoughtful development that respects and preserves our town’s unique character and charm, with a strong emphasis on green space, recreation, and quality of life
• Promote the development of diverse and affordable housing options to meet the needs of individuals, families, and seniors at all stages of life
• Strengthen cooperation with neighbouring municipalities to deliver shared services more efficiently and cost-effectively for taxpayers
• Ensure our town remains a vibrant, welcoming place where families can live, work, and play, both today and for generations to come
• Advance practical climate change adaptation strategies to better protect our homes, infrastructure, and natural environment

These priorities reflect a balanced approach, one that supports growth, protects what makes our community special, and plans responsibly for the future.

My campaign is entirely self-funded, reflecting my personal commitment to serving Rothesay.  Every expense has been covered out of my own pocket, ensuring complete independence and accountability to residents.  This approach allows me to focus solely on what matters most:  listening to constituents, making thoughtful decisions, and working in the best interests of our community without outside influence.
